Privacy

CSV files are often full of customer data. We treat them that way.

The Mac app

CSVUtility opens files on your disk. It does not upload your CSV to us. Edits, filters, compares, and exports stay on your Mac. The app can check for updates on its own. That is separate from your documents.

In-browser tools

Converters, the validator, and the diff tool run in your tab. Files you drop or paste are not sent to csvutility.com. They cap around 15 MB because a browser tab is not a gigabyte editor.

This website

We use Vemetric to count page views and understand which pages help people. Localhost is not tracked. We do not use that product to read the contents of CSVs you convert in the browser.

The Download button fetches the Mac installer from GitHub Releases. GitHub’s privacy policy applies to that request.
