CSVUtility (the menu name is CSV Utility) is a Mac CSV editor. It is for people who live in exports, dumps, and feeds, not for building a budget spreadsheet.
The app reads the file as you scroll instead of loading every cell into memory. That is why a 1 GB CSV can open in a couple of seconds on a 14-inch MacBook Pro, and why Excel’s million-row sheet limit is the wrong ceiling for this job.
It requires macOS 14 or later, runs on M-series and Intel Macs, and is checked by apple. updates itself.. Current version: 1.4.1.
Releases are published on GitHub. The website also hosts small in-browser tools that never upload your file.
